Book Review: Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover

SYNOPSIS:
In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.
Still haunted by the little girl he let walk away, Holder has spent his entire life searching for her in an attempt to finally rid himself of the crushing guilt he has felt for years. But he could not have anticipated that the moment they reconnect, even greater remorse would overwhelm him…
Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward, we must first dig deep into our past and make amends. In Losing Hope, bestselling author Colleen Hoover reveals what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those hopeless moments—and whether he can gain the peace he desperately needs.

MY REVIEW:
Well, well, well. As you all know, I LOVE Hopeless. It it seriously one of my favorite books Ive ever read! But, as much as I love this book, and how much I hate to say this, Losing Hope was such a repeat. I did enjoy this book, don't get me wrong, but it just felt like reading Hopeless all over again. And yes, I know that was the point of this book, sticking to Holder's point of view, but as I was reading, it just felt like I wanted to skip a lot of the parts. I would be reading one of the parts that was in Hopeless and just wanted something different. I liked the parts that didn't come from Hopeless like when he was talking to Daniel and doing other things when he wasn't with Sky. I loved the way Holder is in this book. I loved what he was thinking and how he actually told his side of the story. I liked reading his thoughts and his inner thoughts about Sky for that matter. I overall enjoyed this book and gave it a 4/5 stars. I cant wait to read Finding Cinderella on my Kindle! It is a novella (and its free) and its told from Daniel's point of view when he finds 'Cinderella.'
