Book Review: Origin by Jennifer L. Armentrout

SYNOPSIS:
Daemon will do anything to get Katy back.
After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure.
All Katy can do is survive.
Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the real bad guys? Daedalus? Mankind? Or the Luxen?
Together, they can face anything.
But the most dangerous foe has been there all along, and when the truths are exposed and the lies come crumbling down, which side will Daemon and Katy be standing on?

And will they even be together?

MY REVIEW:
Okay, so this is the second time I'm trying to write this review and that's really upsetting because my first review was extremely good. I will try to remember what I was saying. So first off, I don't know what to do until the last book comes out. I'm sure JL is trying to kill me and every other Daemon Black lover out there. I didn't like the beginning of this book considering it was only about Katy being locked up. Let me just be honest right now-I am selfish when it comes to Daemon and Katy being together. I only want to read the book when they are together with each other. I just felt it lacks story when they aren't together. Am I making sense? Probably not. I also love how this story isn't all about the prince rescuing the princess. Katy is a bad ass! She fights with him and refuses to stay by and let Daemon take care of everything. The love in this book is absolutely fantastic. Katy and Daemon are like, the best couple. I ENVY THEM. I seriously hope no one dies in the last book either. I'm sure someone will but no one main. None of the Black family or Katy or her mom. I will be completely done with the series. This book was probably the best one for Daemon. He is usually this keep to himself kind of guy and in this one he just said all the cheesy lines and anything else that came to his mind. I love him 75894751894 times more now. Just saying. But that ending though... I cant even. Not even going to go there. But anyway, overall I gave this book a 4.5/5 stars. AMAZEBALLS!
